Advanced Critical Services

Life-saving services for a quarter-million East End residents

For heart attack, stroke, and accident victims, every second counts. And that’s why the East End counts on us.

Peconic Bay Medical Center provides residents of the North Fork and central Suffolk County with immediate local access to advanced life-saving services:

  • Our interventional cardiac catheterization center is staffed by the East End’s leading cardiologists.
  • Our stroke center has been recognized for excellence by the American Heart and Stroke Associations.
  • Our Level III trauma center has already provided emergency medical services to 1,000 East End residents.

We are working every day to provide the range, depth, and quality of medical capabilities to fulfill our promise as the regional medical center for the East End.

Before we launched these life-saving services, our residents had to travel farther for critical-care emergency treatment than any other residents of the tri-state area. Thanks to the vision and generosity of our community of supporters and benefactors, residents of the East End can now enjoy a quality of care that reflects our community’s world-class quality of life.

Bringing Trauma Services to the East End

Residents of the East End used to have to travel farther than anyone else in the Tri-State area for advanced emergency services. The North Fork's only Level III Trauma Center brings those services home.
