Many of the leaders of the PBMC Health organization have deep roots in this part of Long Island; all have broad and deep experience in leading and supporting leading-edge quality healthcare organizations.

A recipient of the American College of Healthcare Executives' Regent's Award as well as a growing number of humanitarian and community awards, Andy is widely recognized as the driving force behind the transformation of Peconic Bay Medical Center from a small community hospital to, as PBMC Health, a leading-edge regional continuum of care.

Jean Cacciabaudo, M.D. FACC, FASNC
Medical Director

Previously at Southside Hospital as chief of cardiology and Long Island Jewish Medical Center's associate medical director.

BS from Georgetown University, MD from New York Medical College and residency in internal medicine with fellowship in Cardiology and Hypertension at The New York Hospital.

Joined Peconic Bay Medical Center as Medical Director in 2017.

As medical director of Peconic Bay Medical Center, Dr. Cacciabaudo, oversees all medical affairs, quality management, patient safety issues and standards of care at Peconic Bay Medical Center

Arthur F. Crowe, Jr.
Chief Operating Officer

Serves a principle role in the day to day operations of the medical center, responsible for oversight and operations of Plant Operations, Information Technology, Environmental Services, Security, Nutritional Services, Laboratory Services, Transportation, the Radiology Department, and the School of Radiography.

Develops, Implements and evalutes programs to measure, assess and improve the quality of nursing care and associated "5 Star" quality measures. Maintain quality standards of care in accordance with Federal, State and facility standards, guidelines and regulations.  Ensures optimal quality of care is provided in a safe environment.

Responsible for Quality Management, Infection Control, Accreditation. Plans, organizes and directs the staff and activities of the Quality Management Performance Improvement Program to achieve goals and strategic operating plans and objectives. Ensures compliance with regulatory agenicies in accordance with internal and external requirements and regulation. Promotes effective patient safety and performance improvement initiatives to improve processes and outcomes of patient care.

Responsible for overseeing al PBMC Health financial affairs and other corporate operations including treasury, budget, financial planning, capital planning and access, investment and cash management services. Prior to joining PBMC Health, served as Senior Manager for KPMG Peat Marwick.

Monica Chestnut Rauls

Responsible for staff recruitment and retention as well as staff development and management of PBMC Health benefits programs. Oversees internal communications and organizational culture initiatives, and collaborates with clinical departments on organization-wide performance improvement initiatives.

Susan Somerville, RN
Vice President of Clinical Transformation

Formerly served as president of Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan.  

BS from St. Joseph's College, RN degree from Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens and her Masters degree in health administration from Hofstra University.

She will oversee the implementation of advanced clinical services as Peconic Bay Medical Center and Northwell Health continue to establish the East End’s largest, most comprehensive regional medical center.

Responsible for physician recruitment in support of PBMC Health's clinical expansions, as well as retention and professional development of the PBMC Health continuum of more than 240 affiliated physicians, including employed and voluntary medical staff, contracted providers, and resident physicians-in-training.

Vice President, Foundation and External Affairs

Responsible for leading the PBMC Health Foundation, which includes building philanthropic partnerships with leading individuals, businesses and other organizations in support of PBMC Health and its affiliates. The Foundation also encompasses External Affairs, which focuses on marketing, communications and public relations outreach.
