Julia Chachere brings more than 30 years of professional experience and certified expertise to Peconic Bay Medical Center in the areas of women’s health, family planning, pre-natal and post-partum care, and gynecology.

Licensed by New York State as both a Nurse Practitioner in Women’s Health and as Midwife, Ms. Chachere holds a Master of Science degree in Nurse Midwifery from Stony Brook University, and a Master of Public Health degree from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She earned her RN and BSN from Long Island University.

A nationally certified Physician Assistant with experience in anesthesiology and pain management as well as orthopedics, Mr. Engelbert earned his BS and MS degrees at Wagner College, where he was captain of the Wagner College Rugby Club. He has provided PA services at the Pain Institute of New York, the Mount Sinai Medical Center Spine Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, and Stony Brook University Hospital.

Mr. Engelbert is proud to join Dr. Peter Sultan as an orthopedic PA, specializing in all aspects of orthopedics.

A graduate of the renowned Family Nurse Practitioner Program of the Hofstra/Northwell School of Medicine, Mrs. West is proud to join Dr. Luigi Buono in practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Mrs. West earned her BA at Fordham University and her BSN at Chamberlain University prior to earning her MS with major in nursing at the Hofstra/Northwell School of Medicine. Her advanced training includes certifications in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics, Telemetry, and credentialing as a Certified Medical-Surgical RN (CMSRN) and Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN). She is a member of American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
