Dr. Byrne completed his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2017 at Stony Brook University, where his clinical rotations included sub-acute rehab, acute rehab, the neonatal ICU, trauma ICU, and manual outpatient orthopedics. He has continued to further his manual therapy skills in classes through the Institute of Physical Art, where he became a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) in 2022. Through the Institute of Physical Art’s teachings, Dr. Byrne incorporates the principles of functional manual therapy into each patient he treats. This treatment approach focuses on the interrelationship between limitations of joint mobility, soft tissue restrictions, core stability, and neurovascular limitations to successfully address each patient's needs.
