Dr. Franklin is a fellowship-trained colon and rectal surgeon. She completed her general surgery training at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., and colon and rectal surgery training at Rhode Island Hospital-Brown University in Rhode Island. Dr. Franklin provides a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with various diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus.
Dr. Franklin’s expertise includes colon, rectal, and anal cancer, diverticulitis, rectal prolapse, pelvic floor disorders, hemorrhoids, anal fissures, anorectal abscess, anal fistulas, constipation, and fecal incontinence. Dr. Franklin has an interest in minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery for cancer. In addition, she also performs colonoscopies and anal physiology studies.

He held fellowships in traumatology and reconstructive surgery in Switzerland, France and Italy.
Dr. Krauss has been Chief of Orthopedic Trauma at North Shore University Hospital/Manhasset, where he also served as Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics, and Chief of the Division of Orthopedic Surgery. He has practiced at Peconic Bay Medical Center since 2005.

He received his Masters of Public Health degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
