Advanced technology approaches to cancer care

A cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming, but at Peconic Bay Medical Center, you're never alone.

Our specially trained cancer care team is here to support you. We understand that every patient has a unique story, and we're here to help you navigate the path of treatment and recovery.

Whether during an inpatient encounter or an outpatient visit at one of our other community-based offices, you will find an exceptional medical team who have explicitly chosen to work with cancer patients. Our oncology unit, 2 East, is home to dedicated nurses who have undergone specialized training, and many hold national certifications in oncology care.

When a member of our community receives a diagnosis of cancer, the world immediately changes for them, their family, and their healthcare team. That is why Peconic Bay Medical Center prioritized partnering with the nationally accredited Northwell Cancer Institute to create a Cancer Center of Excellence to serve the East End of Long Island.

The PBMC Cancer Team provides holistic, state-of-the-art, and compassionate care to all our neighbors who are living with a cancer diagnosis. For more information, contact PBMCCancerSurvivorship@northwell.edu

PBMC and Northwell’s vast team of oncologists, nurses, physicians and surgeons are only a stone’s throw away as you fight to defeat cancer. Each member of our staff provides compassionate care tailored to meet your unique needs as a cancer survivor. We understand that the journey doesn’t end with treatment completion, and our survivorship program is designed to support you every step of the way.
