RIVERHEAD, NY – Peconic Bay Medical Center’s (PBMC) Cancer Services Program recently wore pink and tabled on the main campus of the hospital providing information on early detection and steps taken to prevent breast cancer. As the main campus lobby lit up pink that day, the team handed out brochures, pink cookies and personalized Breast Cancer Awareness flags. The exterior of the hospital was also lit up pink during the week leading up to this day.
The Cancer Services Program also accepted donations for their regionally acclaimed services, which offers free cancer screenings to uninsured residents of Suffolk County who meet eligibility requirements.
